Andrew Bingham
Andrew Bingham studied at Toronto (MA) and Queen’s (PhD). He focuses on authority, integrity, intimacy, tradition, and appropriate form in works of prose and film. His favourite intellectual companions include Bresson, Tarkovsky, Rabelais, Cervantes, Sterne, Balzac, Dostoevsky, Papadiamandis, Gombrowicz, Broch, Lawrence, Hrabal, Johnson, Nietzsche, Ortega, Bakhtin, Lossky, Sophrony, Schmemann, Goa, Bourke, Cook, Norm, and, of course, Nick Hauck and Ahmed Saad.
Nicholas Hauck
Nick lives in Toronto, ON and teaches at Brock University. He has a PhD in 20th century French poetry and poetics from the University of Toronto. His essays, translations, and poetry have been featured in publications such as CV2, Spirale, Music & Literature, and Chiasma; his book-length creative essay on Walter Benjamin was published in 2015 (Les Éditions Sémapohre). With Andrew Bingham, Nick co-founded Modern Horizons in 2011. He is co-founder of the Toronto Experimental Translation Collective.
